COMPANY HISTORY
| 1987 | Initially was name as Simeko Plastic Ink Sdn Bhd and established in Bukit Mertajam, Penang. Solely own by Jooi Brother Industries Sdn Bhd. |
| 1988 | Produce ink using ink chip supplied by Hsin Mei Kuang Co Ltd Taiwan. Main product C03 PVC spray ink being supplied to Jooi Brother for Asadi sandal coloring. |
| 1989 | Produce NEH gravure ink for PE, HDPE, and PP films. |
| 1991 | Proposal of joint venture between Simeko Plastic Ink and Hsin Mei Kuang in Malaysia. |
| 1992 | Construction of new factory in Shah Alam, Selangor. |
| 1993 | Moved into new manufacturing facilities in Shah Alam. Penang factory remains as sale office and warehouse for northern area. Official joint venture between Simeko and Hsin Mei Kuang, changed the name to Simeko Ink Industries Sdn Bhd. |
| 1994 | Produce own dispersed ink. Expand market into gravure, flexo, silk-screen, and spray ink. |
| 1996 | Established Johore sale office and warehouse. |
| 1997 | Established Ipoh sale office and warehouse. |
| 1999 | Promote UV curable coating. |
| 2000 | New agreement with Hsin Mei Kuang Taiwan to strengthen R&D to improve quality. |
| 2003 | Promote water base gravure ink. Non-Toluene ink for PVC product. |
| 2005 | Obtained ISO 9001 certification. |
| 2007 | Promote non-Toluene ink for gravure system. |
| 2009 | New gravure and flexo water based technology for PE and HDPE plastic films. |
